15 Amazon Products to Help You Get Through Quarantine

I have admittedly made a few purchases over the past few months that I maybe shouldn't have... Some purchases were well thought out and some not so much, but through all of my spending, some of these products have truly become my favorite products to use through quarantine. So here's a look at some of the best Amazon products i've found for making the most of my time at home.

1. Ergonomic Office Chair
I bought this chair right at the outset of the pandemic. I knew I was going to be working and doing online school from home for a while and the chair that I used to have at my desk was so uncomfortable. This chair makes sitting at my desk for hours so much easier, and I always feel like I get a ton of things done when I'm sitting in it. I also don't go to bed with a serious back ache anymore so thats a huge plus.

2. Planner
I've written about this planner a few times before but i'm telling you, keeping a schedule during quarantine is so helpful for my productivity. I especially love this planner because it not only allows me to schedule tasks and goals down to the hour, but it also gives me opportunities to reflect at the end of my days and weeks, which is really helpful for getting out all of my feelings and emotions of the day.

3. Headphones
I honestly didn't realize how important headphones would be throughout quarantine. I bought these specifically so that I could play my keyboard without disturbing my family while they were working but I've also been HEAVILY using my wireless headphones and AirPods through quarantine for videos calls, workouts, walks, etc. I can even see myself buying a pair of noise canceling headphones for when I want to take a nap or am having a very intense study session. This is definitely one of my must haves during this time.

Health and Wellness
4.  Blender
I recently purchased a Nutribullet as an experiment to start drinking smoothies (I actually wrote an entire post on How I Learned to Love Smoothies + 7 Breakfast Smoothie Recipes to Try if you want to check it out), but this product has genuinely become one of my most used and favorite products for making the most of my time at home. When I want to get my day started quickly I will honestly just pop some fruit into my Nutribullet and take my smoothie to my desk to get working. It saves so much time and tastes super good in the morning.

5. Weighted Blanket
This was actually a pretty unexpected product on my list. I bought this item for my mom as a birthday gift and she ended up regifting it to me because it wasn't working for her, but I recently started sleeping with this thing and I honestly knock out in minutes. I have been having some trouble sleeping recently because my sleep schedule is all messed up from staying up all night, but using this has really helped me get back to a normal sleep schedule and makes my days a lot more productive as a result.

6. Lighted Mirror
Okay, if I had to choose one product from this list to be my all time favorite it would be this mirror. When I bought this product I was replacing my old desk/makeup mirror that broke, and I decided to treat myself to this relatively expensive one because I really loved the lighting around it and thought it would be great for doing my makeup. Little did I know this mirror would become so much more than that. The lighting is so good that I've started using it for taking photos, videos, even to light my room. I also really love how big the mirror is because I'm able to see my entire face while I'm doing my makeup. Hands down the best leisure purchase I made during quarantine.

7. Skin Care Products
So I decided that with all the time that I had in quarantine, now would be the perfect time to start a skin care regimen. After watching a ton of different YouTube videos I decided to purchase an enzyme exfoliator which is supposed to be gentler than abrasive exfoliators, and I absolutely LOVE this product. Every time I use it my face always feels so soft and clean, and I have seen a significant reduction in my uneven skin, acne, and dark spots. Everyone's skin needs different things so I definitely recommend doing your research on what products would work best for you before you buy anything, but experimenting with my skin care has definitely been getting me through quarantine.

8. Hair Products
Similar to skin care, quarantine has been a good time for me to start building a better hair care routine. I already have a hair care routine that i've been using for a while but I decided to take this time to experiment with protective styles to help my naturally curly hair grow. After buying this braiding hair I followed a bunch of different tutorials and did box braids on my hair for the first time ever, and even though I made a few mistakes along the way, I loved the way they turned out (follow me on Instagram and Pinterest to find out when I post about my experience with Box braids!).

9. Tripod
Last but not least in the beauty category is a tripod. I actually just ordered this product and haven't received it yet but I already know I'm going to make such good use of it. I have been getting really into photography and videos during quarantine, and I've been creating a ton of make-shift tripods out of books, cups, or whatever I have around me. So i'm so excited to use this tripod when it comes in!

10. E-Reader
In the final category we have books, and what better way to get your books than through an e-reader? I've started using my kindle every night to get some reading in before bed and it has helped me fall asleep so much faster. I love using my Kindle because it allows me to detach from my phone and get away from the world for a bit. Also, in my experience Kindle books tend to be a little bit cheaper than physical books and you get them right away when you buy them so those are some big perks for me!

11. Atomic Habits By: James Clear
Next we have a book that I have been seeing a ton of people reading all over social media, and I actually really love it. This book has really changed the way I look at my habits and has encouraged me to think about reaching my goals by changing my processes instead of just my actions which I thought was interesting. I highly recommend, and I love that amazon lets you get a free sample to see if you interested and then you can buy it after a couple chapters.

12. Becoming By: Michelle Obama
Okay, so I've been wanting to read this book for such a long time and now that they just released the Netflix documentary about it I figured it was time to finally delve in. What I think I was most surprised about with this book is the voice that Michelle Obama uses. I feel like it is so casual and easy to read and I really appreciate how relatable it feels (which is not something I expected from a book by the former First Lady of the United States). So if you haven't read it yet I definitely think it is a must read during quarantine.

13. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life By: Mark Manson
My last book recommendation is going to be this one because in a time where everyone is on social media more than ever, I think it's really important to remind yourself to not care what other people think and to be yourself. This book really challenges you to think about who your most authentic self is and to just be that no questions asked. So if you want some motivation to feel good about being yourself, I definitely recommend this one.

14. Cookbook
Some other awesome books getting me through quarantine are actually cookbooks! I got this book a few months ago when I was trying to get comfortable in the kitchen and it was honestly such a huge help. I feel like now is such a good time to start experimenting with food and to really find delicious meals that you enjoy and can become your go-to's.

15. Workbook
Last but not least is a workbook! As I prepare to start grad school this summer I have some extra courses that I need to take to meet NY State's Teacher Credential Requirements, so I decided to take a CLEP test to get those requirements fulfilled. In order to prepare, I bought this book to help me study for the test, but there are tons of different workbooks out there that you can use to help you learn a new topic, skill, or trade. If you have a lot of free time like me, then this could be a great chance to learn something new.

After transitioning to a plant based diet, my family decided to go on a hunt for our favorite vegan alternatives.
